The Checkpoint Firewall Analyst will be responsible for the support of the global security environment. In this role the analyst will support firewalls, load balancers, and IDS/IPS devices. The analyst will be able to analyze a diverse range of technical issues across multiple platforms. Possess the ability to work with a broad range of clients that have little or a broad range of technical skills. Possess good project management and cross-functional team skills. Have the ability to plan, organize, and establish priorities related to an assignment and the ability to work independently with minimal outside support. Have the ability to carry out job responsibilities and handle sensitive information in a confidential nature. Effectively communicate in both oral and written forms. Responsibilities also include performance metrics, the determination of client/user satisfaction levels, and the initiation of corrective actions as necessary to ensure continuing quality improvement.
Responsibilities
• Determine client/user requirements by performing market research to determine industry trends/directions.
• Solicit client satisfaction via surveys or other determined methods.
• Assist/create procedural manuals and documents as needed.
• Maintain expertise in assigned area to fulfill position goals and objectives.
• Manage products throughout their lifecycles.
• Participate/run monthly service review meetings with clients/vendors.
• Manage cross-functional relationships to assure a smooth transition to a new perimeter firewall environment new offering. Be an active participant in leading scale-up to delivery.
• Anticipate training requirements for the group and ensure that the proper training is provided as needed.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
* 3 years supporting network technologies such as LAN Switching/Routing, Firewalls and Load Balancers
*
3 Years Cisco and Checkpoint firewall experience
*
3 Years supporting routing protocols and network design
*
Experience participating in network projects and local area network design.
Preferred Qualifications:
*
Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited Institution
*
Experience with F5 and/or Radware Load Balancers
*
1 -2 years experience in managing projects
*
1 -2 years experience configuring, implementing, and/or troubleshooting network security devices.
*
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP
*
Experience using Visio or comparable tool for documenting network design
*
Experience using MS Project or comparable tool for managing projects.
*
Knowledge of 3M’s internal systems
*
Ability to work with individuals from different technical and personality backgrounds to resolve problems.
*
Ability to work with global coworkers
*
Experience with various security vendors
*
Experience designing local area networks
*
Experience participating in network projects and local area network design.
