3M is seeking creative, imaginative, articulate, and enthusiastic people to join our Corporate Auditing team as a Corporate Auditor in Maplewood, MN.

Job Summary :
3M Corporate auditors develop excellent business process and financial knowledge as they audit financial statements as well as operating units in divisions, plants, subsidiaries, and distribution centers across the United States. Our expectation is that 3M auditors must possess strong business acumen that allows them to utilize their knowledge, intuition, and creativity along with facts to assess risks and opportunities and generate solutions to issues in our operating units. We strive to provide value to our 3M community in every audit we perform.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Analyzing data and information to determine the adequacy of internal controls and compliance with corporate procedures as well as interacting with 3M employees at all levels in order to obtain the necessary information to perform their job.
* Auditors lead audits and teams of varying sizes-anywhere from 2 to 7 auditors on a team.
* Auditors communicate audit results and recommendations both orally and in writing to the various levels of management. In addition, traveling to assigned audit locations is required (approximately 25% travel annually).
Location:
This position is located at 3M’s World Headquarters in Maplewood, MN. Relocation assistance is not currently available.
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1 year Big 4 accounting experience
* 1 year Fortune 500 finance experience
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Coaching and communication skills
