Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Manufacturing Software Developer will primarily be responsible for the development and maintenance of digital manufacturing software and automated systems which support the division’s digital product offerings.

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Design, testing and implementation of automated manufacturing processes to support global digital manufacturing requirements
• Execution and coordination of global IT and process validations associated with digital manufacturing systems
• Responsible for conducting Process Qualification (PQ) testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for manufacturing-related software
• Perform integration testing of digital manufacturing software and processes
• Act as liaison with Corporate IT to ensure IT infrastructure/security requirements for global manufacturing sites are implemented and maintained
• Must be able to lead small software teams in the development of custom software applications to support digital manufacturing processes
Location: The person hired for the position of Manufacturing Software Developer will be located in Monrovia, CA and {we will include information on relocation here}. This position may include up to 25% travel.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited Institution

Experience in installing and configuring servers
* Experience with object-oriented development (e.g., C#, Java
*
Experience in SQL Programming
Preferred Qualifications:
*
BS in Computer Science or technical field

Experience using agile process for development
*
3 or more years experience in distributed systems development
*
Experience with LINUX
*
Experience designing and implementation RESTful web services
*
Knowledge in skills in software methodology including documentation, configuration mgmt, and verification/validation
*
Programming for manufacturing systems
*
Programming for dental or orthodontic applications
*
Use of scrums in software development
*
Interactive development
*
Use of backlogs for project management
*
