We are currently seeking aManufacturing Supervisorto be located inEden Prairie, MN to manage all functions involved in the production of 3M products in a safe and economic fashion. This person will be responsible for direct supervision, training, safety performance, product quality, cost control, employee communications, employee moral and productivity. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

* Using leadership and supervisory skills necessary for managing people such as knowledge of employment law, knowledge of corporate/location policies and procedures, effective communications, performance appraisal procedures, performance management, hiring and interviewing, documentation, interpersonal skills, coaching skills, change management, conflict resolution, delegation, goal setting, motivation, emotional intelligence, strategic planning, proficient in using corporate/local systems such as Global Workforce Network (GWN), time and attendance systems, sourcing payment systems, Global Learning Network (GLN), etc.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited university
* Minimum of three years of experience working in a manufacturing setting
* Supervisory or team lead experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline
* Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, holidays and overtime as needed
* Previous managerial or supervisory experience
* 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing setting
* Good people skills including the ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
* Good work habits - timely, thorough, and dependable
