Title: Manufacturing Technology Engineer - Home Care Division
Location: Minnesota-Maplewood
3M’s Consumer Business Group is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Engineer for their Home Care Division.

Job Summary :
The Home Care Division is looking for a Non-woven web specialist responsible for developing new products, owning North American web cost reductions and supporting global technical issues (including the current build of new makers in SLP, Thailand and India).

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Development and implementation of new products including those with sustainable fibers and lower cost fibers.
* Collaboration with marketing team, business team, and corporate laboratories to identify and develop new products for the HCD business.
* Generate and own cost reduction programs within North America non-woven web products.
* Complete testing and data analysis through all phases of NPI program for new products and product line extensions.
Location:
This position is located at 3M’s World Headquarters in Maplewood, MN. Relocation assistance is available.
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited University.
* Minimum three (3) years experience working with non-woven technology
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master degree or higherScience, Engineering and or Technical Discipline
* Five (5) years experience working with non-woven technology
* Experience using typical components involved in a 3M non-woven web maker.
* Experience leading projects
* Data Analysis experience (and related ability to use Minitab).
* NPI Experience
* Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated cross functional ability including significant cost reduction and product development projects.
