Job Summary: The Project Engineerwill primarily be responsible for providing capital project planning and execution of facility related projects. Roles and Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to the following: * Project engineering leadership/management. * Define the scope, cost and schedule for projects. * Generate eAFE’s. * Manage project budget, schedule and conformance to specification. * Coordinate construction activity. * Ensure compliance to building codes and manual 80 & 92. * Perform other duties as assigned. Relocation: Relocation is not authorized for this requisition. Location and Travel:The position of Project Engineer will be located inMaplewood, MNand may include up to 10% travel. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited university. * Minimum of 5 years project management experience. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university. * Project schedules, i.e. Microsoft Project * Previous leadership experience. * System/technical knowledge with PeopleSoft. * Experience working with Lean Six Sigma tools * Familiar with other systems; eMatrix, eAFD’s, Business Objectives (BOXI), Global Capital Forecast (GCF), Global Engineering Tool (GET), Autocad, eAFE’s, Front End Engineering Package (FEEP), Sourcing Work Requests and Manual 80 & 92. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong networking and problem solving skills. * Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-disciplinary team environment.
