The Sales Representative (Mining) will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:

1.Achieve pre-agreed annual sales growth
2. Draw up Key Account Plans
3. Introduce and establish all new products as they are launched. Opportunity for

increased profitability and growth.

4. Review current state of business with the Key Accounts on a regular basis and

adjust specific objectives as necessary.
5. Work to a plan to maintain appropriate contact with all levels of end user

accounts.
6. Maintain full awareness of current trade activity.
7. Maintain sales support system / record cards in an accurate and relevant style in

line with group policy.
8. Prepare and work in accordance with the Sales Territory Plan.
9. Handle all product complaints promptly.
10. Establish and maintain regular contact with all people within the 3M

organisation.
11. Comply with current routine administrative procedures promptly and accurately.
12. Manage financial resources effectively and efficiently.
13. Develop sound product knowledge and competent demonstration skills.
14. Attend formal training programmes as agreed.
15. Maintain all support items – samples, literature, price lists – in first class

condition.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

1. Education
- Standard 10 or Trade qualification for industry.

2. Experience
- Minimum 6 years selling experience in the Mining
Industry.

3. Knowledge
- Office procedures, Sales administration, Product, Market, Pricing, Industry.

4. Key Capabilities
