3M Gulf EMD Division is looking for an individual to provide regional technical support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The person will be responsible to serve the Electrical Markets Division by presenting high end solutions and advanced technology platforms such as ACCR & High Voltage solutions to end-users and consultants. The individual will implement innovative solutions and advanced technologies to meet end-users (Power Utilities, Oil & Gas Firms, EPCs & Consultants), identify and promote self-initiated programs in coordination with the Laboratory. Proactively address business and technical issues for early identification of issues affecting programs. Capable of integrating manufacturing and laboratory business needs into projects/ programs planning.

The major job responsibilities include but are not limited to:


· Furnish all the technical support in terms of responding to technical queries, technical compliance to private and governmental bids & turnkey projects, product/solution demonstration at the field, complete installation & testing procedures for the clients of the Energy & Power sector. Correspond with suppliers and manufacturers in Europe & USA. · Being able to present high end solutions and advanced technologies platforms, such as ACCR & High Voltage solutions to end-users and consultants. Also, Lead cross-functional ACCR & Medium/High Voltage Projects teams from initial stage (Introduction) through successful complete installation & testing. · Implement innovative solutions (Design, BOQ, Installations Procedures,etc) as part of localization, and advance technologies to meet end-users (Power Utilities, Oil & Gas firms, EPCs & consultants) needs and applications. This will assist 3M to differentiate itself from competitions. · Utilize project management skills to offer consultancy expertise for special applications and have the qualifications to furnish certifications that may be required for specific projects or as pre requisite for major end-users. In addition, being capable to train multi-disciplinary clients' teams, on major power projects.



Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

University degree – BSc in Electrical Engineer
*
Project Management Certification
*
Minimum 5-7 years experience in Electrical/Power sector.
*
MS Office skills
*
Excellent communication and presentation skills
*
Analytical and problem solving abilities.
*
Solid and proven records of technical career path
*
Able to work in fast pace environment
*
Fluent in English and Arabic
