Job Description

TheTechncial Enterprise Data Architectwill provide and maintain data architectural design, data models, data governance and database development in accordance with SDLC, change management and development standards. The successful applicant is a self-starter, with good verbal and communication skills. Must be capable of working efficiently in a team environment and be interested in pursuing excellence in their work.

Required Skills

* Proficient in data modeling and enterprise data architecting
* Proficient in data governance concepts, rules and administration
* Knowledge in 1 or more tier-1 enterprise data warehouse technologies
* Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle or DB2
* Proficient in development of stored procedures & SQL scripting
* Excellent analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities
* Ability to manage multiple tasks
* A strong customer-oriented focus and a passion to achieve results
* Must have a strong sense of ownership and willingness to take responsibility/accountability
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Demonstrated ability to maintain current skill set in the technology arena


Required Experience

* 5  to 10 years enterprise level data architecting experience
* Knowledge of SAP HANA a plus
* Knowledge of SAP BW a plus
* Knowledge of any tier-1 DB/DW Appliance a plus
* Knowledge of OLTP & OLAP schemas a plus
* Knowledge of Linux/Unix Administration a plus
* Knowledge of Business Objects a plus
* Knowledge of SQL administration a plus
* Knowledge of Crystal Reports development and installation a plus
* Knowledge of SAP Netweaver PI a plus
* Experience in SAP application/integration development (ABAP, ETL) a plus
* Knowledge of WebSphere MQ a plus
* Knowledge of Team Foundation Server a plus
