Basic Qualifications
 

  • 10+ years relevant experience.

  • Expertise in mortgage finance, capital markets and the mortgage lending process.

  •  Extensive experience with financial analysis and modeling, and a general understanding of mortgage servicing.



Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in mortgage finance, capital markets and the mortgage lending process.

  • Comprehensive understanding of secondary market products, pricing, and programs, including Agency mortgage backed security swaps and sales to investors / conduits.

  • Expertise and deep knowledge across critical industry regulatory areas including FASB 91, 133 and Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act.

  • Extensive experience with financial analysis and modeling, and a general understanding of mortgage servicing.

  • Ability to understand variable cost models and long term implications with extreme fluctuations in mortgage volume / product mix.

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are needed to interact successfully with a wide range of internal and external professional contacts.

  • A quantitative thinker who is able to use numbers to generate and validate critical concepts and extract insight and conclusions based on data and market intelligence.
