Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance OR earned a Bachelor's degree in a  Business related field and have 9 credit hours of Accounting or will have completed 9 credit hours of Accounting by the end of the current semester


• Minimum overall GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0 or 3.75 out of 5.0 in Bachelor's or Master's degree


• Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Skills Requirements

• Financial accounting experience including reconciliation, invoice preparation, processing financial transactions, and preparing financial budgets, etc.


• Good knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley


• Strong Excel skills


• Experience with Government Accounting


• Experience with Deltek Costpoint


• Experience with Microsoft Access


• Ability to be flexible and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment


• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills


• Excellent customer service skills


• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and analytical skills
