Description

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of  Mining and Metallurgy industry experience

  • 5+ years of experience working on mining capital projects (i.e. - Project Controls specialty) In specific: Cost, Schedule, capital cost estimating, and forecasting)

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience and involvement on capital projects from the study phase to field execution, and start up and commissioning

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, and Professional Engineer (P.Eng., or P.E.) license


 
Preferred Qualifications/Specifications:
 
• Location negotiable with focus in Central or Eastern US and Canada
• Must be open to 100% travel

3.     Desire to work in a management consulting environment
4.     Desire to work on work on a Capital Projects management environment

7.     Experience as Project Controls Manager on an EPC/EPCM environment is desired
8.     Experience in working with Primavera P6 project scheduling software  and known project controls modules and capital estimating modules
9.     Must be proficient in setting up and managing rules of credit for engineering-procurement-construction activities
10. Must have a strong track record of using management skills in project controls to allow for projects to be completed on budget and on schedule
11. French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese language skills are a plus
