Accounting Principals is working with an exceptional manufacturing client on the south side ofIndianapolis! Our client is in need of a part time (up to 30 hours per week) Purchasing Specialist!

Responsibilities include:

* Answering phones. Transferring calls to appropriate buyers
* Processing and coordinating confirmations with the Buyers
* Assisting the Buyers with expediting, price changes, and purchase orders
* Scheduling meetings
* Working with vendors to obtain follow up information on Purchase Orders
* Follow up that orders have not been received
* Working in Excel: creating new spreadsheets, working with data on Excel spreadsheets pulled from other reports
* Running Reports
* Generating POs

Qualifications:

* Must be comfortable with a part time schedule(up to, but not exceeding 30 hours per week)
* A Bachelor?s degree is preferred for this position
* Prior experience in purchasing or purchasing support is preferred.
* Must have excellent computer skills.
* Must be superb with data entry.
