We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analystfor a temp-to-perm opportunity for a well-noted and established healthcare organization located downtown. Responsibilities will include assisting with financial planning and monitoring of programs, performing analysis on complex accounts as well as financial and statistical data relative to budget. Additional responsibilities include the development and evaluation of business cases, coordinating and processing month-end and year-end activities along with the preparation and analysis of schedules, statements, and reports for internal and external stakeholders while staying current on up-and-coming issues.

Required Qualifications:

* Professional Accounting Designation (CA, CMA, CGA or equivalent) preferred
* In-depth financial & budgeting skills in a variety of settings is desired
* Advanced Excel and extensive financial modeling skills are essential
* Strong financial accounting competencies in a controls based environment
* Focus on process improvement/re-engineering and operational best practices
* Excellent IT skills, experience with SAP or similar Tier I ERP system
Proactive and perceptive problem solver
* Demonstrated business insight
* Excellent communication skills (verbal & written, especially for documentation)
* Highly organized with efficient and effective time management skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills; working with all levels within an organization ? finance/non-finance staff
* Experience in healthcare or public sector preferred
