activepittsburgh.com is a new website that aims to provide direct access to athletic and recreational events, activities and resources in the Pittsburgh area. Operations are driven by social media, user contributions and outside resources. The ultimate goal of activepittsburgh.com to become the go to resource for all activity related opportunities in Western, PA.

We are seeking a talented, ambitious individual to assist with the development of this internet based start up project. The Website Design Intern will focus primarily on designing a site that is appealing, professional and user friendly. This position will be paramount to future growth and success of activepittsburgh.com.

This internship is part-time, unpaid. Hours are extremely flexible and most work will take place off site. Frequent communication will be made via phone and email with occasional meetings in person. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in designing a website from a basic to professional layout. The successful candidate will be given autonomy and will be recognized accordingly for their contribution to this project.
