Fortune Global 500 company which specializes in trading and logistics seeks an experienced HR Manager as well as the Compliance Officer.
This position will oversee and directly or indirectly manage all qualitative areas in the Company, including Human Resources, Legal, Information technology and General Affairs. Establish, maintain and be responsible for efficient procedures, controls and systems of the company. Oversee all Human Resources policies and programs, including employment, training, employee relations and compensation.
•Responsible for Talent Management, including strategic and deliberate in source, attract, select, train, develop, retain, promote, and more employees through eh organization.
•Responsible for all Human Resources areas such as; benefits, administration, recruiting, training, conflict resolution, EEO, payroll, terminations, disciplinary actions, worker’s compensation, performance evaluations, total compensation, bonus program, and job descriptions.
•Planning and preparation of the Company’s growth initiative from the Human Resources perspective to endure compliance and consistency within the company’s philosophy and mission.
•Maintain all company Policies and procedure to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulatory guidelines to limit the company’s liability.
•File and maintain all regulatory reports in accordance with required deadlines (EEOC, OSHA, etc.).
•Supply data /information to parent company when requested.
•Establish and maintain appropriate internal control in compliance with J-SOX and the adopted policies.
•Arrange, coordinate and endure adherence to all compliance issues such as Company Policies, J-SOX, and any other adopted regulatory guidelines.
•Oversee introduction of new IT projects including AIM, GP, Axapta, and internet.
•Research. Recommend IT policies, procedures and implementation and compliance.
Responsible to coordinate and maintain efficient system and programs for our business volume and schemes.
•Performs any other assistance duties requested by Management.
•Responsible for all transactions to ensure compliance with governmental regulation.
Other duties as assigned.
•Bachelor's degree (B. A.) focus in HR, business or legal. Master Degree in Human Resources is preferred.
•PHR or SPHR Certified
•Minimum seven years’ experience in an HR supervisory role.
•Minimum three years’ experience in non-HR functions.
•Strong knowledge of Information Technology
•Requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Working knowledge on employee Conflict and Confrontation Resolution
•Working knowledge of FMLA, OSHA, EPA, etc. and maintain up to date documentation and compliance for company.
•Working knowledge of employee benefit offerings, including but not limited to; Health and Welfare, Worker’s compensation and Risk Management.
•Must be able to travel to Michigan and other locations about 1-2 weeks per month as needed (Locations: Farmington MI, Cincinnati, OH, Mira Loma, CA, Anaheim, CA, Lafayette, IN Headcount: Permanent total 91, and 20-30 temp associates depends on the business volume)
•Experience in working in a global environment is a big plus
