Formulation Specialist – Quincy, IL

ADMAlliance Nutrition, Inc. – a fully-owned subsidiary of Archer Daniels Midland Company and national manufacturer of livestock feed with over 40 locations in North America, is seeking an ambitious individual for a Formulation Specialist role to be based at the division headquarters in Quincy, IL and report to the Formulation Services Manager. Detailed responsibilities include:

* Create and maintain formulas and feed tags that are in compliance with AAFCO, FDA, GMP, etc. regulations.

* Review work of peers and formulation assistants for accuracy, manufacturing quality, and best cost.

* Work seamlessly with pricing and purchasing groups.

* Provide technical support to plants as necessary.

* Perform plant and system maintenance on an on-going basis.

* Assume lead role on special projects as requested by Manager

* Maintain accurate and orderly records.

* Timely, accurate and professional communication with internal and external customers.

Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Animal Science (advanced degree preferred), knowledge of multi-species nutritional requirements, understanding of and ability to adhere to feed industry regulatory and manufacturing requirements, and the ability to productively utilize Microsoft Office products (knowledge of Oracle and Brill Formulation software highly preferred). The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and function well in a team environment.
