Shelling Plant Maintenance Supervisor - Headland, AL

This is a full time, exempt position

Job Responsibilities (Partial Listing):

·Analyze maintenance and operating methods, as well as equipment failures

·Implement practices to cost effectively improve on equipment reliability

·Establish, implement, and effectively manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and execute processes using Maximo” and "RCI"

·Follow safety, environmental and sanitation programs and company procedures.

·Ensure facility maintenance is documented and taken care of in a timely manner.

· Initiates improvements in the efficiency of maintenance department operations

·Ensure maintenance activities are compliant with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures.

·Ability to resolve complex problems such as production troubleshooting assistance, productivity improvement, cost control, and

equipment/process analysis.

·Researches & makes recommendations regarding process improvements or modification that might improve design, quality,

reliability, and reduce manufacturing costs.

·Written and verbal communication of maintenance and reliability activities

·Develops key metrics for measuring and assessing reliability efforts and develop best practices.

Job Requirements

·5 years of industrial maintenance supervisory experience in a proactive maintenance environment

· Experience in using CMMS

·General knowledge of codes, relevant standards, and materials/metallurgy related to industrial equipment

· Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage personnel, budgets, schedules, and other resources

·Excellent communication skills – both oral and detailed written are needed to be effective in this position

·Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills

·General knowledge of software systems such as Maximo, Microsoft Office applications (Project, Excel, Access, Word, and SharePoint), and CAD
