Financial Analyst 40 hours/week Provide financial consultation, products, and services that ensure timely and accurate delivery to identified customers within the consolidated system and the separate operational elements that constitute the system as a whole, with emphasis on assigned operational areas. Provide maintenance to ensure accuracy of hierarchy / tree structure in all FP&A systems. Support Alegent Health¿s system-wide strategies and operational planning activities with the daily operation of the FP&A systems. Develop and produce routine reports from FP&A systems. Accurately compile budget, productivity processing, and cost accounting data, as applicable, to all levels of system management and actively pursue resolution of identified issues. Experience Zero to three years experience within Finance or Accounting, or related field. Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related field. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must possess a strong knowledge of Financial Management and Accounting Theory and Practice; with a thorough knowledge of computer operations and PC utilization preferred, including database software, spreadsheet software, and Windows operating systems; demonstrate ability to gain a keen understanding of hospital and other general health care operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Notable problem solving and planning skills. Must demonstrate personal traits of a high-level commitment; motivation and energy; team orientation; professionalism; trust; personal honesty and integrity; and demonstrate an appreciation of the high value of others, as well as an attitude of dignity and respect toward others.
