The Advanced Clinical Education Specialist serves as a role model, consultant, change agent, facilitator, researcher and leader. This specialist assesses learning needs, designs, plans, implements, and evaluates educational programs that facilitate the professional growth, skill development, competency and attainment of standards of care for Clinicians within the Heart Center. This position demonstrates a philosophy of continual improvement. Requirements
Graduate degree in Nursing or Education required, with undergradate degree in specialty. Must have 5 years pediatric clinical experience with demonstrated clinical judgement and technical ability. Evidence of participation in research activities related to education or clinical . Current licensure in the State of Florida. Board Certified in Nursing Professional Development preferred.Ability to move about the hospital campus and to use a variety of teaching aids, devices, and equipment
