Allstate Management Consulting Services (AMCS) is an internal consulting organization leveraging the talents of diverse team members. AMCS provides integrated consulting services to Allstate Business Partners to enable the achievement of OUR SHARED VISION, objectives and goals. AMCS is an advisory partner that helps improve Allstate performance by identifying and analyzing business processes, technology opportunities, architecting new operating models, designing and improving business processes and providing organizational redesign services. The Opportunity: This is an experienced hire position in the organization. This position reports to a Manager and will be responsible for supporting the execution of management consulting projects. In addition this position is responsible for the maintenance of the methodology of the consulting service and cultivating and fostering client partnerships and relationships. This resource should have some knowledge of and experience in consulting services. This is an opportunity to work in an impactful team environment supporting major initiatives of Allstate.The most significant challenges for this position in the first 12 months include:

Scope of the Job: ] This position reports in a matrix structure to a manger. The position is responsible for supporting client engagements under the supervision of a delivery leader. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient in consulting skills, process documentation, facilitation, Six Sigma or process improvement frame works and possess dynamic presentation skills, be goal oriented and self motivated. Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with business and technology partners as needed to accomplish assigned tasks. Works cooperatively with engagement team, fostering "team player" attitude.
- Clearly and effectively communicating ideas and information to others, particularly through deliverable creation.
- Understanding the importance of visibility and networking.
- Continuously building upon existing understanding and knowledge of the organization and business consulting skills.
- Understanding how to identify client needs by synthesizing information through research, working session outputs, client interviews, etc. Understanding the importance of inference. Understanding the implication of client needs and provides recommendations based on this understanding.
- Participates in management consultation to identify client needs. Provides basic consulting services and performs research, information gathering, analysis and documentation and applies appropriate methodology with a moderate level of guidance and direction where appropriate.
- Updates and employs models for decision making, gathers required data, executes required analyses, identifies issues and problems and recommends approaches to address them, tests quality of data and reconciles data across sources as instructed.
- Conducts research and produces documentation of findings.
- Helps design information gathering questions, conducts interviews, focus groups and workshops with supervision where appropriate. May facilitate these sessions, usually under the support and guidance of more experienced practitioners.
- Supports opportunities in innovation and improvements to achieve the organization and corporate strategy.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
- 5- 7 years experience consulting in a service industry
- 5 - 7 years of business experience in a services sector business (insurance, financial services, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication and influencing skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to build relationships, create organizational credibility, and demonstrate a high degree of business acumen
Computer Proficiency Required: Expert skills in MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Web-X or virtual tools Experience in Access is a plus Education: College – Required Major Preference: Finance, Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems or Operations
