Description   A Marketing Consultant provides consultative advice to Allstate Exclusive Agents.  The Marketing Consultant conducts in depth analysis in the field in order to effectively recommend marketing solutions. Utilizing Allstate Branded Marketing  programs, the Marketing Consultant coordinates all phases of project development work for Allstate, specific business units or external constituents through independent initiative.  The work of the Marketing Consultant improves the internal and external marketing processes across multi-access channels.   This role will provide the opportunity to gain in depth knowledge of Allstate Insurance products as well as a broader knowledge of the business and the ability to utilize this knowledge to provide consultative services delivered face to face, through webinars, workshops or desktop sharing.  

Key Responsibilities   -   Coordinate own work plan, prioritizing workflow and multiple, more complex projects -   Assist with development and execution of marketing plan in line with team strategies -   Review existing processes and make recommendations for process improvement -   Work as a resource on cross-functional teams -   Assist clients to identify their needs and options -   Work independently on familiar projects and with management guidance on new or unfamiliar projects

Qualifications

• Intermediate organization and project/program management skills
• Intermediate presentation development and delivery skills
• Intermediate negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate experience using Microsoft suite
• Insurance industry knowledge a plus
• 2+ years of Marketing experience
• Bachelor’s degree required: Marketing concentration preferred
