Description Allstate Corporation’s Southern Region Product Management department has an exceptional career opportunity for a Product Associate in our Nashville, TN office.   The Product Management Organization's purpose is to support and drive profitable growth initiatives and to increase Allstate's auto market share in the Southern Region. We do this through education, competitor analysis, ensuring appropriate prices and insurance products, risk management strategies, local market planning and profitability management.  Ability to relocate to Allstate's Home Office (Chicago) or other field offices is strongly recommended.   The scope of this job is to lead and support profitable growth initiatives through the development, education and execution of Price, Product and Risk Management strategies. The candidate will utilize project management expertise to provide support and influence departments throughout the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for:   1) Leading and influencing strategies to improve price, product and risk management performance and driving profitability.   2) Creating and presenting clear, concise and meaningful presentations for our agents, our department and other regional departments.   3) Developing measurement standards and databases, and completing regular financial analysis to evaluate the performance of Allstate and competitor initiatives.   4) Establishing and supporting the development and execution of local market growth and profit plans.   5) Analyzing and predicting competitor movement. Enrolling and influencing the leadership to implement necessary strategies to obtain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.   6) Leading across boundaries to provide support and influence our sales force, claims, controllers, customer care unit, corporate relations, and other support centers.   J2W  

Qualifications
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as negotiation.

  Ideal candidate is personable, well spoken able to articulate to others and make presentations comfortably, highly motivated with the desire for upward mobility and open to possible relocation.  Experience is preferred and occasional overnight travel is required.      Computer Proficiency: All Microsoft Office tools required (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)    Education: College Degree - Required Major preference: Math, Finance, Business Degrees preferred, others considered with analytical experience.
