Contribute your expertise to our R&D execution organization in Baden (AG). Being member of the Critical Technology department Performance Assessment you will be integrated in a team with the mission to provide thermal businesses with world class methodologies, processes, tools, data and expertise for performance assessments of installed products and plants.

Your tasks:

* Analyse GT emission performance, consolidate with fleet feedback and combustion experience, and integrate in models for the prediction of emission performance deterioration of service products.
* Contribute to the development of new products, services, and methodologies by supporting or leading projects in the area of service R&D and product support with the focus on GT environmental performance assessment and improvement.
* Identify and specify requirements for measurements, testing and monitoring in order to improve emission performance assessment quality.
* Evaluate and consolidate environmental performance experience as input to new product development and to service business.
* Perform root cause analysis of failures to achieve emission predictions for upgrades, retrofits and maintenance solutions.
* Undertake benchmarking of Alstom and competitors service products in the area of emission & combustion performance assessment and reduction or compensation of deterioration effects.

Your profile: Degree in engineering. Minimum of 3 years professional experience in emissions and combustion performance of gas turbines, preferably on Alstom GT portfolio, including hardware, operation, and site experience. A sound thermodynamic understanding and knowledge about the tools and processes applied in the Alstom R&D emissions & combustion community. Proficiency with data analysis and statistical methods, as well as first experience with project management as additional assets. International experience with the ability to work in a multicultural environment. Excellent team working and communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
