The East Central Division of the American Cancer Society is currently seeking talented individuals to enter our talent pipeline. Candidates in the pipeline will receive quarterly newsletters, invites to social communities, information on local opportunities and events and be among the first candidates to be informed of American Cancer Society job opportunities. The Income Development Representative position focuses on: ? Volunteers: Collaborate with, empower, and develop volunteers for fundraising activities and other events. Actively work with volunteer committees to produce effective fundraising events. ? Donations: May help with major donor identification and cultivation. ? Mission Integration: Work closely with other staff partners to incorporate mission programs into all fundraising activities. ? Staff Development: Actively participate in ongoing staff education and development on local, division, and national levels. Position Requirements Requirements include: • Undergraduate degree required. • 2-5 years of learning experience in fundraising and special event mgmt. • Volunteer recruitment, motivational, and mgmt skills. • Strong communication and org skills. • Ability to frequently work evenings and weekends. • Travel is required. Must attend a mandatory new hire orientation program in Hershey, PA/and/or Dublin, Ohio immediately following hire.
