Title: Platform Development Manager-Java Development Leader

This Platform Development Manager is responsible for providing consulting/advice, governance, and subject matter expertise to senior business leaders in terms of driving the business capability, integration capability, technical feasibility, and functional design of the Credit Servicing Platform.
* May lead activities to research and prototype innovative technology solutions
* Works with senior-level architects to align on enterprise architecture strategy
* Works with development teams to ensure that the business, technical, and testing requirements are adequately defined and documented
* Assists with identifying resource requirements and determining potential development schedules
* Serves as a platform subject matter expert to business development teams, and works with business partners and architects to identify technical solutions and business process improvements
* Provides overall governance on platform development activities, ensuring alignment to the strategic direction
* Works with Directors of Technical Delivery and Business Analyst resources to ensure that requirements are met
* Candidates should be prepared to work extended hours
* Typically holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or other related field, or has equivalent work experience
* Typically has 10 years previous IT work experience, with proven experience in a leadership role and project/portfolio management role
* Requires strong technical background that will further strengthen ability to manage a technology portfolio efficiently
* Requires 3 years of hands-on development experience with Java
* Requires previous experience with Websphere Application Server
* Requires financial acumen in terms of planning and managing the organization's budgets, forecasts, etc.
* In-depth understanding of Clarity tool and related processes is a mandatory requirement
* Ability to manage and coordinate global teams (both IT and business)
* Ability to navigate a large organization and develop strong relationships across IT and the business
