Position Description
• Implement strategic plans as directed by Group Manager
• Responsible for adapting and implementing underwriting strategy and methodology to meet production target effectively and profitably (example of business KPI are; number of submission, closing ratio, target new business pipeline, renewal ratio and profit)
• Responsible for the effective and proactive sales management of the broker and agency distribution channels
• Must be able to manage pipeline target management
• Manage the up-sell and cross sell opportunities for Group Products
• Required to lead the team with a strong level of technical decision making capability combined with sales skills
• Motivate the team and ensure that they are proactive and empowered to an appropriate level
• Develops training materials and programs for producers and customers on product benefits
• Develops sales presentation to brokers/agents to gain new businesses, maintains accounts, and cross-sells additional coverage
• Establish, develop and maintain key producer/customer relationships

Position Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or higher - Majoring in Insurance is more advantage
• Strong knowledge of underwriting concepts, practices and procedures
• Strong product conceptualization abilities
• High level of energy, self-confidence, and enthusiasm with ability to work well with all levels within an organization
• Skilled in relationship building and has excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
• Customer oriented with strong follow-up and multi-tasking skills
• Able to handle pressure
• Possess a good level of teamwork
• Computer literacy
• Willingness to travel
