Position Description
General Description:
- An inbound call center representative tasked to handle routine inquiries on claims.
- Answers calls courteously and answers the caller’s questions or concerns fully and accurately.
- Will handle calls from medical providers, injured workers and all other caller types (brokers, attorneys, insured, etc) that have inquiries on services rendered to patients with Workers’ Compensation and Casualty policies.
- Queries may vary from claim status, bill status and reconsideration and treatment authorization requests for Medical Providers and additional queries on indemnity payments for injured parties and their representatives.

Job Profile:
1.) Providing the customer with the requested information or assistance.
2.) Handle 50-100 telephone inquiries daily (inbound).
3.) Exhibit satisfactory working knowledge of all trained products and/or call types by performing at acceptable levels of quality and productivity within the grade.
4.) Continue self-development to ensure proper knowledge of insurance procedures and Company policy. Continue to gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services being offered.
5.) Perform other related duties or projects as assigned by the Team Leader or Manager.

Position Requirements
Eligibility Criteria:
1.) Must be able to work evening and early morning hours (between 7p-9a).
2.) Must be fluent in American English.
3.) Graduate of any 4-year course.
4.) No experience required but 1-2 years experience in the call center industry is preferred.
5.) Performance rating of meeting targets or higher in the last performance appraisal, if previously employed.
6.) No final written warning within 1 year from the date of application.
5.) Not subject to any disciplinary action within 6 months from the date of application.
6.) Has a good attendance record. No tardiness memo incurred.
7.) Successful applicant must be able to join by November 19, 2012.

1.) Able to use the computer with advanced typing skills
2.) Fluent in oral English, strong in discourse and interaction
3.) Strong communication skills especially in discourse and interaction.
4.) Ability to establish effective relationships with customers; build rapport.
5.) Strong attention to details and listening skills.
6.) Ability to use the phone system
