Job ID #: 59460 Employment Type: Full Time - Permanent Location: Alabang Education Preferred: Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) Business Unit: Relocation Provided: No Functional Area: Operations Travel Percentage: Position Description Legal Bill Analyst Review legal and vendor invoices for reasonableness and compliance in accordance with Litigation Management guidelines and other vendor guidelines. Adjust invoices in the system as appropriate and make recommendations to the adjusters for approval of invoices to be paid. Communicate adjustments appropriately to the law firm or vendor. Following the review of assigned invoices, the Legal Bill Analyst maintains a daily spreadsheet reflecting the amounts submitted by the law firm, adjustments made, and any exceptions noted. Contribute data used to generate key performance metric reports identifying trends to be communicated to law firms, vendors, and legal audit teams or claim professionals. Other responsibilities include reviewing internal claim systems for claim details, communicating with claim professionals to determine prior authorization or exception approval, and researching terminology on the internet. Participate in special projects as assigned. Assist in organizing, prioritizing, assigning and monitoring the work of a team of Legal Bill Analysts to ensure that all service level objectives are met. Resolve referral questions from staff, appeals or questions from law firms or vendors regarding invoice adjustments, and issues from claim professionals in a timely fashion. Assist in providing leadership and coaching to team of Legal Bill Analysts. Assist in development of training materials and courses for team. Perform quality reviews of Legal Bill Analyst work and provide actionable, relevant feedback to team members. Develop and maintain an environment within your team that fosters desired culture through effective communication, mentoring, rewards and recognition. Participate in Special Projects as Assigned. Position Requirements Legal Bill Analyst Bachelors Degree in Political Science/ Law At least 1-2 year(s) of experince in Bill and Invoices review for US Clients preferrably have worked as Bill Analyst/Reviewer or Pricing Analyst Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Proven ability to liase and manage relationship with the clients Strong writen and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Spreadsheet Applicants must be open to work on night shift schedule (9pm to 6am) Applicants must be willing to work in Madrigal Business Park,Ayala Alabang Muntinlupa. At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in Bill and Invoices review for US Clients Experience in handling bill and invoices review and knowledgeable in US Law and Legal Services is an advantage Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Spreadsheet Applicants must be open to work on night shift schedule (9pm to 6am) Applicants must be willing to work in Madrigal Business Park,Ayala Alabang Muntinlupa. Preferably Supervisor / 2 & Up Experienced Employees specializing in US Law/Legal Services or equivalent. Full-Time positions available. Lead Legal Bill Analyst Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree, Political Science, Law or equivalent. Well versed with legal terms and legal processes. 2-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Extensive experience in Bill and Invoices review for US clients Experience in handling bill and invoices review and knowledgeable in US Law and Legal Services is an advantage Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills. Very keen attention to detail. Highly meticulous. Highly self motivated and directed. Strong customer service orientation.
