The animal care internship is a great opportunity to work directly with farm animals in a sanctuary setting. This is a physically demanding position, so you must be in good physical health to handle the labor. In your first week you will learn routine animal care, such as feeds and cleaning. You will also work directly with caregivers weekly to assist in daily medication and proper animal handling.

You should be comfortable working individually and on a group level. You should also be comfortable communicating any questions with your supervisor. This sanctuary internship is great for the individual who wants that hands-on experience with farm animals!
