This individual will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the Seneca,SC facility while being an active participant in the CTO Portfolio of plants. In addition to month end close and financial controls, this position will be an active member of the plant management team as they strive to attain targeted metrics including Productivity, Base Cost Controls, Inventory, Service Levels, etc.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years Finance/Accounting experience focused in a manufacturing environment, at least a four year degree (CPA or MBA preferred), and supervisory experience. In addition, the candidate should have the following skills/experince:
•Teamwork: Lead local finance team with confidence, a positive demeanor, and energy to motivate the direct staff as well as act as an ambassador of the facility.
•Creative Problem Solving: able to identify and present data, capture trends, explain the results and suggest actions to take. Supporter of constant process improvement.
•Strong system skills: Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems, Advanced Excel skills and database and query writing experience.
•Strong communication skills: ability to effectively communicate and stay connected with several diverse groups including remote management, Operations, Finance Shared Services, internal/external audit, etc.
•Influence & Convince: work with leadership team to drive change required to achieve productivity improvements, growth, and further integration activities towards standard Schneider-Electric practices/tools/strategies.
•Teamwork: Ability to leverage skills and the local team to assist the overall CTO portfolio achieve the group objectives as well as lead/work on projects at a corporate level (across portfolios) to impact the North American region.

Key Responsibilities:
•Manage the local finance team to complete site specific and corporate accounting/finance activities accurately and on time.
•Review and analyze month-end, quarterly, and annual financial results against financial forecasts and prior year. Ensure that results are complete and accurate and are appropriately reflected in all SE reporting tools.
•Manage and analyze the quarterly forecast and annual target setting process(es).
•Ensure accurate reflection of Inventory valuation and product profitability through effective standard cost design/implementation.
•Drive the development of internal controls in alignment with corporate expectations (KICs) as well as local controls consistent with IFRS.
•Provide financial support to business cases by advising on feasibility of the plans, supporting presentations to Sr. Management, tracking actual progress of approved projects to initial business plan, etc.
•Prepare presentations and supporting analysis for monthly plant reviews (MORs) and other strategic meetings.
•Support management in "Ad Hoc" analysis, special projects, SAP ERP implementation, leverage of shared services, and talent development.

This position will work closely with the LVMCC marketing teams as well as a "sister" site in Monterrey, Mexico providing opportunities to drive business objectives outside of the core operations of the plant. Travel opportunities exist through required travel for projects and training should not exceed 5%
