This position is responsible for insuring that current design documentation (Product Definition File) is consistent with the product being built (Industrial File). The associate will have the ability to use problem solving skills to find root cause solutions for process and product issues. It also requires extensive interaction with the shop floor and Continuous Engineering group to support all technical aspects of the product offering. Responsibilities include: 1.Execution of product design change requests in a timely manner. Includes investigation, execution, and closure. 2.Creates complete design solutions through the development and maintenance of accurate solid model components and assemblies. Delivers detailed drawings and change order documentation for the solutions. 3.Investigates issues reported with mechanical designs and/or bills of material. Determines corrective action required and executes documentation changes to resolve. 4.Must be self-motivated and team orientated. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Must be adaptable, committed to setting and meeting schedules, managing multiple activities and effective communication skills are required. Preferences: Computer skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, Lotus Notes. ProE experience is a plus Good interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
