Focused on making energy safe, reliable, efficient, productive and green, the Group's 130,000 plus employees achieved sales of 22.4 billion euros in 2011, through an active commitment to help individuals and organizations make the most of their energy. www.schneider-electric.com Summary: The Offer Creation Manager position will be responsible for the marketing definition of new power metering products focused on energy cost reduction (cost savings and carbon savings) and electrical network management (electrical reliability and uptime). This includes assessing and prioritizing customer and market requirements, working closely with engineering to deliver market-leading products, and managing successful product launches. Responsibilities: • Directly engage customers to effectively represent the voice of our customer in new product development teams • Collect and prioritize targeted customers needs and technologies that can help to realize them • Analyze market trends and potential disruptions • Define the 4P marketing strategy for new offers • Establish system and/or offer requirements • Define best adapted business model to sell the offer • Position and differentiate products in the marketplace through competitive analysis • Ensure that offer marketing positioning is consistent with strategic objectives given by markets and countries • Develop business plans for multiple segments, forecast sales volumes, market penetrations, mix and set price strategy to achieve planned contribution margins • Interface with multiple groups, nationally and globally, to develop new products and modify existing products • Provide supporting services to transition products from development to launch • Execute product line plans through written marketing proposals and definition of valuable product features and benefits Requirements: • Degree in Business or Engineering • MBA or other advanced marketing degree strongly preferred, but not required Experience: • Track record of success defining and launching excellent products • 5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing/product management • 5+ years of relevant work experience in energy management systems or related technology preferred • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, and to work effectively with customers, development, and field teams • Outstanding leadership, teamwork, and communication skills Apply on Company Website |
