Job Responsibilities This position will be responsible for developing the OEM segment of business in the Philadelphia market with a focus on Automation products and applications. With an entrepreneurial approach, will develop new sales opportunities and addresses the needs of larger OEM accounts. Utilizes excellent product, competitor and customer knowledge to act as a consultant for high-level customer contacts regarding customer's present and future needs. Encourages partnering as a means toward account penetration and increased profitability. Negotiates and coordinates pricing strategies, market conditions and changes for applicable area. Acts as liaison between Sales Engineers and distributors. Trains others (e.g. distributors on Automation and Control products and processes). May input quotations, enter and manage orders. Serves as a resource and/or liaison to provide technical information to internal and external groups. Partners with customers and external consulting engineers to develop communications and reliance on products and services. Conducts technical training, product presentations, and provides technical assistance as necessary.

This position requires 5 or more years of automation solution sales experience. Technical degree preferred.
