The role of Senior Accountant is to support the department with full-cycle accounting activities for assigned markets, with a specific focus on month and year-end closings, as well as reconciliations.

- work closely with the CFO for financial accounting and reporting

- full management of the legal accounting (payables, receivables and general ledger)for the DACH region

- full management of a small accounting team of 3-4 people

- compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts

- manage the process of booking payments, costs, agreements, and set up numerous

- ensure the full compliance (internal compliance management program and countries - German and Austria - compliance requirements)

- resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

- ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

- prepare financial management reports

- establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures

- tax returns preparation for DACH countries (VAT, intrastat, statistics)

- develop and maintain financial data bases

- financial audit preparation and coordination with external auditors

- develop efficient use of resources and procedures

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications / Experiences:



- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar

- Confirmed experience in a full accounting process in Switzerland and/or Germany

- Fluent English, French and German
