- The Central Engineering organization is seeking a highly dedicated and motivated individual to join its team.
- The selected applicant will be assigned to the Project Engineering section.
- The candidate will coordinate engineering activates such that Central Engineering's deliverables are completed efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with applicable specifications, drawings, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- The selected candidate will direct and provide leadership and oversight of the engineering activities for projects in support of Steam Operations.
- Responsibilities also include periodic reporting of progress and financial status to senior management.
- When applicable, will act as a liaison with regulatory and public officials during the engineering phase of the project, and will coordinate the applications and processes to secure necessary licenses and permits.
- The Engineer is responsible for developing project plans and schedules, and monitoring project progress and costs of the projects.
- Other duties include reviewing cost estimates, appropriations, engineering drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring adherence to Company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Also, this position coordinates and participates in field walks, pre-award, engineering package and schedule review meetings.
- As the project engineer, provides technical support during field construction activities to Steam Operations and other departments as requested.
- The engineer promotes implementation and strict adherence of the Company's safety, health and environmental policies and programs.
- In addition, this potion is responsible for overseeing that project files including plans, estimates, schedules, design documentation, engineering calculations are properly maintained and entered into Project Explorer.
