GENERAL SCOPE SUMMARY

Sales Account Executives (AE's) at Aspect leave every encounter with their customers feeling like something valuable just occurred. Our AE's understand how to align with the biggest opportunities within our current and prospective accounts. They are insightful and digitally savvy advocates of the new customer engagement imperatives that represent both threats and opportunities to our customers. At Aspect, we build solutions for customers that they use to win in the ever more demanding world of increasing expectations in consumer engagement. Relentless relationship developers, our AE's are the stars with our organization that are advocates for our customer experience and success.

CORE PRINCIPALS FOR ASPECT'S GLOBAL SALES TEAM

  1. We always form relationships with the business sponsors
  2. We sell based on business value and use our tools to provide fact based evidence
  3. We connect with senior Executive levels at our accounts and build confidence, trust and demonstrate the highest order of ethics in order to turn them into advocates for Aspect and its people
  4. Everything we do, create and say is posted in SFDC
  5. We are committed to the profession of the Sales Professional and set high standards for continuous improvement
  6. We treat every customer like they are the only customer we will serve for the next 20 years
  7. We take personal accountability for learning our new products and services and cross-selling into our accounts
  8. We involve our Aspect Senior Executives in our sales efforts early, and with full transparency
  9. We are the front lines of Aspect and are proud to be the ones who get to make the first and last impression on a customer
  10. We meet and exceed our financial targets and protect the revenue and profits of Aspect while we do it

PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engages with customers proactively and provocatively with a strategic “consultative” and “trusted advisor” approach that results in addressing a customer's business needs and issues with solutions that transform the customer's business and drives business outcomes
  • Develops and presents compelling value propositions, business cases, and account development plans
  • Offers unique perspectives and insights regarding the customer's business and issues and tailored ways to address those issues, and alignment of solution's value to the customer's strategic vision
  • Has expert-level skills in advocacy of multiple solution delivery business models, including perpetual/premise, cloud and private-cloud
  • Collaborates closely with marketing on demand generations programs, and assumes primary responsibility for bookings and revenue growth, and exceeding sales forecasts and quotas in assigned accounts or territory.
