Global Head Pathology in Global Safety Assessment

Position

As the Global Head Pathology in Global Safety Assessment you will lead and manage a Global Pathology organization and closely interact with all functions and iMeds in Innovative Medicine to drive scientific excellence in drug discovery and development.

Expectations and Responsibilities:

Line management experience to globally lead and develop the pathology organisation with sites in Sweden, UK and US.
Scientific excellence in discovery pathology, regulatory toxicologic pathology and safety sciences.
Responsibility for talent development, resource allocation, work prioritization, performance management and timely project deliveries.
Establishment of a global pathology strategy aligned to the overall GSA and Innovative Medicine Strategy supporting the people, portfolio and productivity goals of GSA.
Creativity in solving experimental questions and devising strategies and planning activities to achieve project goals.
Identification and implementation of innovative technologies to enhance the drug discovery and safety assessment.
Establish effective interfaces and influence other functions in GSA as well as outside Safety Assessment.
Serve as a key member of the GSA leadership team as well as Safety Assessment Review Board.
