Description
Directs the planning, development AT&T's Business Mobility Machine to Machine Solutions Marketing Plan. Monitors the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning advertising in the market place. Manages interface with vendors to produce promotional
materials, sales aids, and consults with management both sales and non sales to
determine the best operational objectives in support of marketing efforts. Responsible for implementation of marketing programs for one or more product/service lines. Provides for the preparation and consolidation of forecasts which meet overall marketing/sales objectives of the company. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods,
techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.

Required Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the wireless industry. He/she will have a strong sense and intuition for usability and design, with the ability to balance creativity and practicality. This individual will be a proven performer with measurable successes leading to positive bottom-line results. Interpersonally, this person will need to have the ability to build consensus and work across organizational boundaries.

Additionally, this person will possess:

  • 3-6 years experience managing teams, preferably comprising diverse disciplines including marketing, design and technical resources
  • At least 3 years experience leading design efforts utilizing 3rd party suppliers with demonstrable short-term and long-term results
  • Specific experience in the wireless industry, either with a wireless carrier, manufacturer or wireless software design firm
  • Strong people management, coaching and counseling skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal and negotiation skills
