Description
Provides technical expertise in
developing, deploying, and managing professional services solutions
exclusively to Federal Government clients' business needs. on a fee-for service
or billable hours basis. Responsible for the day-to-day tactical duties for a
highly complex TECHNICAL program or group of programs. Responsible for the
administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program
guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer. Monitors project to ensure
work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. Provides the
coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary
reviews and approvals are received. May conduct performance/project analyses
during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs. A minimum
of five years Project Management experience Network Project Manager (PM)
supporting multi-million dollar Military
Base Telecommunications Projects.
Ability to engage resources for projects involves outside plant
construction, data networking, temporary and technical communications facilities
and overall communications architectures.
Responsible for overseeing all installation logistics, finances and
ensuring successful implementation with on site government project manager. He
or she will shall manage change orders, provide ongoing project documentation
and numerous standard PM deliverables.
Manages multiple sub contractors -- must provide strong project leadership
to the entire AT&T team.
Minimum of 10 years in the
telecommunications industry with inside/outside plant, telecommunication
architectures, electronics, and project management experience. Must understand network operations. Must be conversant/have working knowledge of
structured cabling, routing, switching, and IP protocols. Must have proven track record of very strong
leadership skills, organizational skills.
Experience with MS Project, Excel, Word are required. US Citizenship. B.S. Engineering, Management or Computer
Science or equivalent experience.
Advanced degree is a plus, but experience is paramount. Certifications: RCDD, Cisco or Brocade certification are
plusses.
Required Clearance: Secret
Desired: Prior military or Army customer experience; Knowledge or experience in US Army networks.
