The EA should be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and/or experience:

Understanding of MCNOSC operational and technical requirements for all network and enterprise services

Understanding of application and network systems similar to those in use across the MCEN

Technical lead and architecture planning experience in a GNOSC network environment

Experience developing reference models for an enterprise and maintaining the information in an IT repository

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have demonstrated ability to present material to senior DoD and non-DoD officials

C4 experience in a military headquarters or command center environment

Expert knowledge and skill in applying advanced enterprise architectural theories, principles, concepts, methods and techniques sufficient to design and develop the most appropriate techniques to solve problems, enhance performance, and increase both efficiency and effectiveness

Data communications and network technology

Demonstrated understanding of voice, video, LAN/WAN, and VTC technologies

DoD messaging systems

Technical oversight experience in a C4 communications and networking environment with a significant number of support staff

At a minimum, the EA should have the following education, certifications, IT related experience, and security clearance:

Masters degree in IT related studies - or - equivalent experience

8570 IASAE II or greater certification

ITIL v3 Foundations certification

ITIL v3 Service Transition certification

Master/Engineer level Microsoft certification

Professional level Cisco certification

20 or more years IT experience (in addition to degree equivalent experience)
