This
position requires at a minimum "Interim Secret Clearance" prior to
the start of work.
Candidate must be a US
citizen and either possess or be eligible for a DoD SECRET clearance. This work
is on site at Marine Corps Base Camp Quantico, VA. These Systems Administrators
design, administer, maintain, troubleshoot and support an organization's computer
systems. They are responsible for designing, installing, administering,
maintaining, and upgrading all connected systems and devices to include, but
not limited to: workstations, printers, servers, SAN and NAS devices, VTC
equipment, VOIP equipment, switches, routers and encryption devices. This
position also provides support for Information Security (INFOSEC) and trusted
systems technology. They also support systems with diverse workloads and
software including SQLServer, SharePoint, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange,
and Apache. They work in a variety of IT
job environments including organization offices, government organizations, and organizational
datacenters. They help to install and maintain systems hardware and software on
a basic level, analyze incidents, and monitor systems to ensure their
availability to system users. They also help perform back-ups and measure system
performance and normally work under a Team Lead who provides direct
supervision.
Required
Skills and Certifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent;
2 years experience in applying computer techniques, principles, and precedents
to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate data processing
systems or facilities. Maintains, repairs, inspects, troubleshoots or programs
systems equipment or components. Reviews analyzes, develops, prepares, or
applies specifications, policies, standards, or procedures. Plans and performs
test and evaluations of systems equipment or components. Installs patches or makes changes in response
to identified I/A incidents, OPDIRS, or IAVAs.
Required: One of (CompTIA Security+CE
Certification, GSEC, SSCP, CISA, GSE, CISSP (or associate), or GCIH)

of (MCP, MCSA, MCTS, MCITP, or MCSE)

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP);

(CCSA); NGX Certified; CISSP; ITIL V3 Foundations.
