Audible.com, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, is looking to hire software development interns to focus on the development of Audible applications for mobile and connected devices (smartphones, tablets, TV appliances, etc.).

The internships will provide qualified students with rigorous, real-world, mobile software-development experience from one of the most sought after software-engineering employers in the country. While the internships are unpaid, interns will receive a top-rate learning experience, have the opportunity to participate in the development of consumer-facing software, work closely with Audible hiring managers, and receive school credit.

Intern Qualifications Include:
Mobile software development experience preferably with some development experience in an organizational setting (i.e., a non-academic setting)
Passion for the mobile computing & mobile apps spaces
Proficiency & knowledge of core mobile-development platforms (Android, iOS, BlackBerry, .NET, etc.) and associated programming languages
Ability to learn and grasp new concepts quickly

Location Of Internship: 15 minutes outside NYC by train (via NJ Transit/Path). Office only 1 block from NJ Transit stop - no need for a car (~50% of our employees live in NYC).

Start Date & Length of Internship: Rolling. Flexibility per students situation.
