Job Summary:
The service driver picks up and drops off dealership service customers
Job Responsibilities:
o Deliver and pick up customers in a prompt and polite manner
o Complete a log at the time of delivery and request customer signature
o Clean the van each night and turn in all paperwork and keys to the service manager
o Help maintain the professional appearance of the service department and the courtesy van
o Arrange to have van washed when necessary
o Be responsible for the basic maintenance of the van; check oil with each fill-up and get annual safety inspections
o Secure van on premises before leaving for the day
o Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
o Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Required Experience
Qualifications:
o Must meet company's requirements for employment
o Must have a valid driver's license
o Professional appearance
o Demonstrated customer service skills
o 6-12 months of previous work experience (preferred)
o Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
o Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
o Exposure to inclement weather
o Ability to operate an automobile
o Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending

Required Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
