Title: Environmental Health, Safety and Security Manager

Is familiar with local, state and federal EHS regulatory requirements, providing technical expertise and consultation to local management, keeping them up to date with issues that affect operations of the Zanesville facility; and then audits to ensure compliance. Administers regional and global safety, health and environmental and security plans, programs, procedures and policies for the Zanesville Distribution Center. Develops appropriate site specific procedures training and auditing, assisting local management with the implementation of these processes. Acts as a liaison with government safety, environmental, and fire officials coordinating visits and reporting feedback to local and regional management. Performs risk management functions relating to self-insured workers' compensation administration and liaison with insurance consultants relating to fire protection system maintenance and property protection, including, development of responses to recommendations. Responsible for Security department and security strategies as well as managing the Crisis Management program.

Bachelor of Science / Arts degree: Concentration in a technical discipline (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, or Environmental) or Bachelor of Science in Safety Engineering desired. Graduate degree preferred.
* Minimum of 6 - 8 years safety, health and loss prevention responsibilities preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

CSP, PE, CIH, OHST, ARM or equivalent certification is preferred.

PC literate with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
*
Excellent presentations skills; interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
*
Must be able to make independent business decisions; exercise sound judgment to solve operational issues in a timely manner.
*
Technical expertise in safety and health regulatory requirements.
