Title: Senior Manager, Global Digital Strategy & Activation Excellence

This digital strategy professional will be an integral part of the global digital center of excellence. This role will be a strong mix of both strategy and process excellence, identifying new initiatives, building a business case and ultimately activating and sustaining them across 60 markets. This role will be charged with three key goals:

1) Strategic initiatives:Identifying and driving key digital strategic objectives including mobile payments, social media, ecommerce and other emerging technologies. This professional will identify opportunities, shape their overall vision, develop business cases, and work to obtain funding

2) Digital Fluency:A key area of opportunity for Avon is to build digital fluency throughout the organization. This strategy professional will lead our digital knowledge initiative with Avon associates, senior management and Representatives. This includes developing content (video, digital, web), running a digital curriculum/university, and leading digital roadshows. This professional should therefore fully understanding key digital functions including digital marketing, social media, mobile platforms and eCommerce capabilities. While this professional may not have worked specifically in these functions, strong knowledge is highly preferable.

3) Activation and sustainment of our platformsis a critical need for our digital initiative. This strategy professional will be responsible for driving on-going iterative development of our core digital properties. This will be driven by continual monitoring and reading of key digital KPI’s, working with markets to understand best practices and feeding information back to our production team to drive platform improvement. Ultimately this role will be an integral part of ensuring we drive digital performance. This is a highly cross-functional role, working with key market partners to activate and sustain or global digital initiatives.

This role will over time have 3 direct reports, including digital strategy, analytics and Omniture resources. Additionally this professional will be heavily involved in managing and working with global and cross-functional partners including IT, market research and marketing

· Minimum of 3-4 years in Management Consulting

· Digital and ecommerce experience is a pre-requisite, with a solid understanding of digital analytics toolkits (e.g., Omniture, Google Analytics)

· A solid team player is a MUST –with both a high IQ and EQ

· Strong relationship building skills – able to work in a highly matrixed environment – building towards concensus

· MBA from a top tier management program

· Self-starter who is eager to learn and challenge the status quo

· Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

· Strong project management experience a plus; ability to multi-task well with multiple projects and deadlines

· Direct Selling experience a plus
