About This Position

CA RN License required. 1 -2 years of acute care nursing experience required, with Labor and delivery / post partum experience required. BLS, ACLS, and NRP required and STABLE with in the first six months of hire. If less than 12 months of L&D experiences must have introduction to fetal monitoring. If greater than 12 months L&D experiences must have NCC-EFM Certification of added qualification or AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitor Certificate. If hold Intermediate certificate must obtain Advanced certificate within 12 months. Founded in 1956, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital was created to meet the needs of our community, and has grown from a small local facility to a large regional hospital serving all of Kern County. Today, we have more than 400 general acute beds, nearly 50 intensive care and cardiovascular recovery units, 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites, a full-service ER with nationally certified Stroke Center and the Central CA Heart Institute.
