Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is currentyly hiring nurses to staff our exciting now opened center: The Lauren Small Medical Center! The eight-bed PICU cares for critically ill pediatric patients with pediatric intensivists available to assis nurses and provide for our youngest patients 24/7.
The perfect candidate must have 1year of current Inpatient Pediatric acute care experience or ICU/NICU/ER acute nursing experience or less than 2 years PICU acute nursing required. Current California RN License required. Current BLS and PALS required. Must be able to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice untilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. Founded in 1956, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital was created to meet the needs of our community, and has grown from a small local facility to a large regional hospital serving all of Kern County.
