Description:
The Assistant Director in the Facilities Management Dept. participates in the development and administration of programs that maintain buildings, grounds and equipment in accordance with regulations and administrative guidelines. The Assistant Director will also manage the Maintenance and Plant Operations staff while monitoring the construction, renovation and repair of Kimball Medical Center's physical plant, equipment and contents.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years supervisory/management experience in hospital or industrial maintenance
  • Experience and ability to maintain effective and productive working relationships within a union environment
  • Project management experience related to construction and renovations
  • Experience with hosptial regulatory requirements for Joint Commission and CMS
  • Valid N.J. Driver's License
  • Current 2nd Class Stationary Engineer's License
