Our IT Operations' team located in Moorestown, NJ is looking for a SQL DBA Administrator (SQL DB Environment) able to do scripting as well.Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for:
Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The Bayada Way.
Be responsible for the configuration, installation, maintenance, and operation of local area network products and services. This includes managing file servers, their operating systems and the network based software that resides on them.
Perform administrative functions for Microsoft Windows servers, including but not limited to:
a. Creating and maintaining user profiles and passwords; granting and revoking access to applications,databases and system resources.
b. Creating and maintaining directory structures, print queues, password expiration, etc.
Install, test, and tune software and hardware related to database management systems.
Develop hardware and software sizing requirements.
Schedule and performs upgrades to database.
Ensure maximum availability of database resources to users and production applications.
Supports development, testing and production database environments.
Work with Application Developers and establish and maintain the database configuration to maximize performance of database applications; making tuning adjustments as appropriate.
Monitor databases for resource utilization and provides ongoing trend analyses for determining current need for forecasting future resource requirements.
Be responsible for planning, implementing and testing disaster recovery for production databases and database management systems.
Ensure database backups are performed on a consistent basis and that all data structures are recoverable.
Be responsible for SQL and Web program change control strategy and enforcement
Assure quality and integrity of production systems.
Develop and oversees maintenance schedules.
Maintain and further develops technical competence in key system infrastructure technologies and services, as well as maintains an awareness of current emerging technologies.
Other technical duties may be assigned from time to time.
Three years of hands-on experience with SQL Server 2005
MCSE or MCITP certification prefered
SQL DBA plus scripting required
